If I’m able to, then perhaps I’ll be closer to portraying a true expression of love.

Super Smash Bros x 進撃の巨人(Attack on Titan) Opening 2 【Hand-Drawn】 (by AmazingArtistYellow)
As far as I know, the Perrault (the original) and Grimm versions do not follow this ending. There are many versions of this story, but the original/most commonly known versions do not have this happen. I want to say it’s an Italian version that uses this ending. So saying the original ended this way isn’t true. There is, however, a version that does end that way.
OMG REBLOG THIS & LOOK AT UR BLOG ITS COMPLETELY DIFERENT
iM CHIR YING BC THE WAY IT LOOKS ON YOUR BLOG SEND HELP
i dunt see it
…You had my curiosity…
WHAT THE JESUS FUCK IS THIS VOODOO?!
(I’ll try it
how did you
im so confused what is
WTF!?!?!?!?!?! Someone get the fucking salt!
Oh my god
these normally are total bullshit so we’ll see
it’d be cool if celebrities stopped wearing bindis all the time without actually knowing what they mean / symbolize in indian (specifically hindu) culture
like it really pisses me off
My Indian friend told me most Indians…
I’m Indian. I’ve been wearing bindis since I could walk and talk. I was born into an extremely religious family, my mother literally wears bindis 24/7. And no one cares if people from other cultures wear them if they wear them respectfully and appreciate them. They like it when people see the beauty in our culture.
When I was little and was ashamed of who I was, my parents would point out how it was shameful how celebrities like Gwen Stefani and Madonna could see the beauty in bindis and accessorize them, when I couldn’t even see that in my own culture. Religious leaders have literally suggested that I bring back cool bindis for my non-Indian friends as gifts from India.
The bindi is basically a decoration, it’s not like the tilak which is much more religious and serious in meaning.
Oh so now you speak for all south asians huh? Just because you got told its a decoration, don’t mean it’s okay. Because there is a reason why tons and tons of brown people get upset when others from outside their culture where them. I repeat you do not speak for an entire nation, if the majority of its people are against it.
The majority of indians are not against it
Most Indians have bigger problems, like the fact that the government is a corrupt unit and the fact that women are treated terribly to worry about such trivial shit.
The tilak, which is actually religious and spiritual is something that Indians view as something that shouldn’t be appropriated. Not the bindi.
Oh so because India knows bigger social problems, you think all indians are cool with their culture being taken and used as fashion? Ofcourse they have bigger problems within there society, but that doesn’t mean they don’t find it disrespectful for people to wear them just as a decoration.
Dude shut the fuck up.
I guarantee that I know far more about indian culture than you, so shut up. Stop trying to speak for everyone, you sound like a fucking idiot.
About 99% of indians love it when people like their stuff, they do not find it racist. They find it racist when you speak for them (like what you’re doing) and when people mock the bindi, no one fucking cares otherwise. You just disregarded all the points i posted and are speaking out of your ass right now. Stop talking, thanks.
You’re a fucking idiot for trying to speak for an entire nation. There is a fucking reason why they get upset when people do that shit. And there is a reason why brown people thank me because I pointed it out. You stupid ignorant cunt
Oh hey…are you indian? I am.
Have you been to india? I have.
Can you speak an indian language? I can
Can you even name three indian languages? I can
Can you name any hindu customs? I can
Or are you speaking out of your ass because the bindi is the only indian thing you know? You are.
Indian people don’t want people like you speaking over them in a pathetic white savior complex. You’re calling me ignorant for telling the truth about my culture. And “brown people” because only Indians are brown, right?
You’re the racist one, you’re the idiotic one, and you calling me an ignorant cunt for telling the truth about my culture while you’re actually trying to silence me is laughable.
Go on now, sweetie. It’s naptime for the children :)
I love it when tumblrinas try to start shit with the cultures they have appointed themselves the moral guardians of, and get schooled as a result
"oh hello, I’m a middle class American (often white) and I think you should think that taking something from your culture is wrong. Even if you think that there’s better things to worry about in your country!"
I think… my favorite part is that naturally rebellious was arguing that an indian girl has no right to speak for her whole country in saying that people of other cultures wearing bindis isnt offensive, but then goes on to imply that they can speak for the whole country in saying that it is. like. WHAT EVEN.
>tells someone they don’t speak for their country
>speaks for their country for them
—the asian one
im australian and spent a month all over India last year and everywhere you go the locals would literally walk straight up to you smiling so brightly, put a bindi on your forehead, pray to you and then walk away so i think its ok for me to wear them back home
^As a big fan of immersing myself in other culture, the above just moves India higher up my list of a very long list of places to visit, true or not.
